About me

Hi! I’m Kore (pronounced “Cory”). Thank you for landing here!

As a MindBodyGreen certified health coach, I support you in identifying strengths, recognizing blind-spots and guiding you on the path to getting un-stuck. Whether it be through health coaching, yoga, or Reiki, my goal is to help you shake loose what no longer serves so that you can live fully.

Health and wellness coaching is the union of my life’s work (so far). I’ve always had a fascination with language, specifically the nuances and subtleties of written and spoken language. This led me to major in linguistics and teach English as a Second Language for many years. I’ve been equally fascinated with the human body and holistic healthcare for as long as I can remember. I am 200-hour registered yoga teacher plus I have completed countless hours of additional coursework including yin yoga, Forrest yoga advanced training, and a Reiki level II certification. As a certified health and wellness coach, I listen deeply, recognize your highest potential as an individual and work collaboratively with you on your goals.

Health and wellness coaching
This is a client-centered process where a coach works in partnership with an individual to help them achieve their personal health and wellness goals. Coaches use evidence-based tools like motivational interviewing and positive psychology to guide clients in clarifying their vision and setting achievable goals. This dynamic empowers clients to create sustainable habit change through self-directed action and accountability. A coach is not a therapist; they are a behavior-change expert. Ultimately, as a client, you get to decide what works for you and what action to follow-through on.


As a health coach, my role is to actively listen, understand challenges, and collaborate on a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and values. I support you in setting and implementing actionable steps for long-term health.

Frequently asked questions

  • Health coaching is about empowering individuals to make lasting, positive changes. Instead of giving advice, health coaches and clients work in partnership to uncover solutions. Health coaches guide clients in making health, wellness and lifestyle changes whether it’s improving diet, increasing physical activity, managing stress, sleeping better or shifting mindset.

  • I am currently offering my health coaching sessions free of charge. I am in the process of applying to take the NBHWC exam, and need to complete practicum hours. These complimentary sessions will help me practice and refine my skills as a health coach.

  • Nope! Health coaching sessions are held via Zoom or over the phone so you can be located anywhere in the world.

  • Any adult who is ready to commit to their health and well-being!

  • Before beginning coaching, we will have an informal 15-minute discovery call where you can ask any questions and you can determine if this is a good fit for you. Follow-up sessions are 30 minutes and typically held on Zoom, at the cadence that feels appropriate. (Twice a month seems to work best for a lot of people). The number of times we meet will depend on your own personal health and wellness goals, your commitment, and when you feel that your goals are complete.
